Unearthing Some Mysteries of Hypnosis
Many people are uncertain of hypnosis…
Or find themselves confused due to what they see on stage shows or on TV or in the media. Let me help unearth some of the mysteries of hypnosis and review some of the facts about what hypnotherapy is and what it is not. It is most important to emphasize that while in hypnosis, the hypnotherapist does not control you. You cannot be forced to do anything against your will or your moral judgment while you are being hypnotized nor can you be forced to reveal any secrets. You are also very aware of everything that is happening while in hypnosis. In fact, hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind much like meditation. A person cannot get stuck in hypnosis any more than a person can get stuck in a nap. It is also important to know that hypnotherapy is not a magic pill. Successful clients are motivated and committed to reinforcing what they are learning daily through a process called self-hypnosis.
